Peter J. McDonald, President and Chief Executive Officer

Peter J. McDonald is our Chief Executive Officer. He previously served as the President and Chief Executive Officer and a Director of SuperMedia, Inc. from December 2010 to April 2013. From October 4, 2010 until December 9, 2010, Mr. McDonald served as SuperMedia’s interim Chief Executive Officer.
McDonald comes to Dex Media with tremendous depth of successful experience in the Yellow Pages directory advertising and publication industry and in its evolution, with more than 35 years in the industry. He began his career as a sales trainee with National Telephone Directory Company (NTDC) in New Jersey in 1973, one of the predecessor companies that are now SuperMedia. He was with NTDC for twelve years and during that time rose to Vice President – General Manager, before being recruited to join R.H. Donnelley (RHD) (now known as Dex One Corporation), where he was at various times responsible for its New York and independent markets, including Texas, California, Pennsylvania, Florida and Washington DC.
During his tenure at RHD, which began in 2002, he held several positions of increasing responsibility and was appointed President and Chief Operating Officer of RHD in 2004, serving in that capacity until 2008. McDonald’s career also included service as President and Chief Executive Officer of SBC Directory Operations from October 1999 to April 2000, and President and Chief Executive Officer of Ameritech Publishing’s Yellow Pages business prior to its acquisition by SBC in 1999, President and Chief Executive Officer of DonTech Publishing, a partnership between RHD and Ameritech Publishing, from 1993 to 1994 and Executive Vice President and General Manager of Donnelly Information Publishing from 1987 to 1993.
McDonald has also served on a number of boards, including those of RH Donnelly Corporation and CMGI Inc. He served as the Chairman of the Local Search Association, formerly known as the Yellow Pages Association (where he served as Vice Chairman).

Michael N. Dunn, Executive Vice President – Chief Technology Officer

Michael Dunn is Dex Media’s Chief Technology Officer, responsible for managing the delivery and support of technology solutions that enable the online, mobile, print, and social network distribution of advertising for clients of Dex Media. He oversees Dex Media’s technology strategy, architecture, infrastructure, application engineering and maintenance for all information systems within the enterprise. Dunn also has responsibility for the development and support of digital products that are offered by Dex Media including Superpages.com®, DexKnows.com® and the Superpages® and DexKnows Mobile® mobile applications. He is charged with leading digital product development as well as rationalizing the IT systems and operations supporting Dex Media as the leader in local advertising for small and medium businesses.
He previously served as Vice President and Chief Information Officer of SuperMedia Inc. from April 2010 to April 2013. Previously, he was Senior Vice President, Information Technology & Business Process Management at Level 3 Communications from April 2005 to April 2010. Prior to his role at Level 3, he held various positions at Capgemini, Ernst & Young, and Convergent Group.
Dunn holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin and an MBA in Accounting and Information Technology and Operations Management from Southern Methodist University. He is involved in DFW SIM, and is a member of the SMU Cox Business School Information Technology and Operations Management (ITOM) Advisory Board, Evanta Dallas CIO Executive Summit Governing Body, and Evanta Texas CIO Institute Leadership Board. He was recognized by CIO Magazine as “One to Watch” in 2010 and by Evanta as a 2012 Top 10 Breakaway Leader.

Frank P. Gatto, Executive Vice President – Operations

Frank Gatto is our Executive Vice President – Operations, responsible for Dex Media’s operations’ functions, including billing and collections, customer care, sales support operations, print and digital products fulfillment, printing, directory distribution and facilities and sourcing.
He previously served as the Executive Vice President – Operations of SuperMedia, Inc. He served as acting Chief Executive Officer from February 2008 to May 2008. Before his Operations position, Gatto served as President for the Northeast sales region for Idearc and for Verizon Information Services (VIS). Prior to that, he was VIS Senior Vice President for Operations Support.
Previously, he was Vice President – Finance and Chief Financial Officer for the Puerto Rico Telephone Company, where he had served from September 1999 to September 2001.
Gatto began his career with GTE Corporation in 1978 and served as Vice President – Finance and Planning for GTE Airfone and Director – Budgets and Plans for GTE Wireless.
Gatto earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Villanova University and a master’s of business administration degree in finance from Boston College.

Del Humenik, Executive Vice President – Sales

Del Humenik is our Executive Vice President Sales, with responsibility for ensuring that Dex Media provides local businesses with effective print, local search, and direct mail advertising tailored to their specific needs.
Before assuming his current role, Humenik served as Executive Vice President – Sales of SuperMedia Inc. from November 2010. Previously he was Senior Vice President – Sales & Marketing for Paychex Inc. While there, he led a team of approximately 2,000 people in the sales, marketing, and business development organizations.
Prior to his role at Paychex Inc., he was Senior Vice President and General Manager for R.H. Donnelley Corporation. Until 2003, he was employed by SuperMedia’s predecessor companies for nearly 20 years, holding various sales management and executive positions.
Humenik is a native of Philadelphia. He holds a bachelor’s degree in consumer economics from the University of Delaware.

Samuel D. Jones, Executive Vice President – Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer

Samuel D. (Dee) Jones is our Chief Financial Officer in addition to his role as Executive Vice President and Treasurer. In this role he is responsible for all finance functions for the company including accounting, financial reporting, treasury operations, financial planning and analysis, as well as investor relations.
Prior to his current assignment, Jones served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of SuperMedia, Inc. Prior to that he was Executive Director – Financial Reporting and Analysis and Mergers and Acquisitions for Verizon Information Services (VIS). Jones has also served as Executive Director – sales support for VIS’ International operations.
Jones began his career 30 years ago as Manager – Cost Accounting for GTE Southwest. He advanced through positions of increasing responsibility including, Manager – Regulatory Accounting for GTE and Director – General Accounting and Financial Reporting for GTE Directories. He holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in accounting from Angelo State University.

Debra M. Ryan, Executive Vice President – Human Resources and Employee Administration

Deb Ryan is our Executive Vice President—Human Resources and Employee Administration, responsible for Dex Media’s human resources and employee administration, including compensation and benefits, employee development, labor relations, payroll administration, employee relations, staffing and vendor management.
She previously served as Executive Vice President-Human Resources and Employee Administration of SuperMedia Inc. from April 2012. Before joining SuperMedia, she served as VP-Franchise Development for the Dex One Corporation from 2009 to 2011, VP-Human Resources-Sales and Operations from 2006 to 2009 and VP-Human Resources from 2002 to 2006 at R.H. Donnelley, responsible for the company’s human resources function. Prior to that Ryan held various human resources and sales management executive positions.
Ryan graduated from Elon University in North Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in History, and completed the Executive Education Program on Labor Relations from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

Matthew J. Stover, Executive Vice President – Chief Marketing Officer

Matthew J. Stover is our Executive Vice President – Chief Marketing Officer, responsible for Dex Media’s marketing, strategy and planning across digital, print, mobile and social media, as well as overseeing business development and partnerships.
He previously served as Executive Vice President – Chief Marketing Officer of SuperMedia Inc. Before joining SuperMedia, Stover was Chief Executive Officer of Local Matters, Inc., which provided digital search and advertising solutions. From 2005 to 2008, he was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ypOne Publishing, LP, a closely held company providing print and online yellow pages directories in the United States and Canada, prior to which he was a Director and Executive for several public and private companies.
Stover served from 1994 through 1999 as Group President of Bell Atlantic Directory Group and President and CEO of its predecessor companies, Bell Atlantic Information Services Group and NYNEX Information Resources Company, where he oversaw the $2.4 billion domestic print white and yellow pages publishing business, created the United States’ first national Yellow Pages on the Internet, BigYellow, as well as the successful web@once suite of website creation, copywriting and hosting products; established BellAtlantic.net as a major Internet Service Provider; and created Global Directory Services, Inc., which provided print and online shopping directory services in China, Greece, Poland and the Czech and Slovak Republics. He is a past Director and Chairman of the Board of the Yellow Pages Association, now the Local Search Association.
Stover is a graduate of Yale University and the Executive Program of the Colgate Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia. He is a chairman of Mobile Search Security, LLC, and serves on the advisory boards of several private companies.

Cody Wilbanks, Executive Vice President – General Counsel and Corporate Secretary

Cody Wilbanks is our Chief Legal Officer with responsibility for legal, public policy, government relations and compliance.
Prior to his September 2008 appointment to his current position, Wilbanks was Acting Executive Vice President – General Counsel and Corporate Secretary from May to September 2008.
He previously served as Vice President, Associate General Counsel—Commercial Transactions of SuperMedia Inc. from 2006 to 2008. From 1987 through 2006, Wilbanks was employed by Verizon Communications Inc. and its predecessor GTE Incorporated, in the legal departments of various business units, including GTE Southwest Inc., GTE Telephone Operations World Headquarters, GTE Airfone Inc. and GTE’s competitive local exchange telecommunications subsidiary GTE Communications Corp. He successfully served in a number of increasingly responsible positions across a broad range of legal disciplines, including Vice President – General Counsel of GTE Airfone. He began his assignment at Idearc’s predecessor company, Verizon Information Services, in 2000, and remained with the company, re-named Idearc Inc., following its spin-off from Verizon in 2006.
Wilbanks earned a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1975, and in 1981 he graduated with high honors from SMU’s Dedman School of Law, earning a juris doctor degree and selection to the prestigious Order of the Coif. Wilbanks began his legal career in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General (JAG) Corps as a Regular Army Captain, where he served as a criminal prosecutor. After his military service, he was an Associate Attorney with the law firm of Vinson & Elkins in Austin, Texas, from 1984 to 1987, practicing in tax-exempt finance and regulatory law.
Since 1997, Wilbanks has continuously held the highest peer review ratings awarded in the legal profession — Martindale-Hubbell’s AV® rating — for very high to pre-eminent legal ability and ethical standards. He has been active in coaching youth sports and in community service, including four years (two as president) on the Board of Directors for Captain Hope’s Kids Inc., a non-profit corporation that provides for the critical needs of homeless infants and children in the North Texas area.
