How to Get More Boost from Google+ [Infographic]

There are more than 300 million active users of Google+, although many of them are not sure how to use the social platform to the best advantage. As with any social media platform, the more you use it, the better you understand it.

The folks at Digital Information World have put together the following Google+ infographic with information and tips from multiple sources, including our own subject matter expert, Jonathan Jeter, and his post “7 Tips for Participating in Google+ Communities as a Business“.

The only recommendation they make that I might differ with is “To be active, look to create posts at least a few times a day.” Having run a small business myself, I know that this can be overwhelming, especially if Google+ isn’t the only social network you’re participating in. Unless you have someone on staff who can be devoted to managing your social media as a full-time job, or you have a marketing partner to manage it for you, it makes sense to set more realistic goals for posting.
